The Recreation Commission is an advisory committee set up for the Village Board of Trustees. This year it consists of:

- Denise Calabrese, Chairperson
- Ronnie Komornik, Trustee

- Cathy Mazochi          - Don McCormick
- Joan O’Brien             - Jim Komornik
- Heidi Palacios

Recreation Commission meets on the Third Monday of the month at the American Legion at 7:00 pm. They are charged with organizing Easter Egg Hunt, Cultural Diversity Festival,  Family Fun Day by the Lake, Summer Concerts, Halloween Parade,  Halloween Costume Party, Christmas Tree Lighting and many more exciting events.

Current Event

Cultural Diveristy Festival: Saturday, May 30th, 11a-4p, Mesier Park. Sample foods, music, dance and the arts of the many different cultures that make up the fabric of our great Village!

Registration for Summer Camp is now being accepted.

Village of Wappingers Falls residents age 5-12 are welcome at camp. Camp will be open Monday, June 29th - Friday, August 7th, 9am-3pm at Veterans Park. The fee for camp is $40/week. Additional fees for trips or programming may apply.

Park Commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the American Legion Hall, 7 Spring Street, Wappingers Falls NY 7pm.

Lake Committee
The Lake Committee is a committee set up of the Village Board of Trustees. This year it consists of:

- Denise Calabrese, Chairperson
- John Chase, Trustee
- Scott Davis, Trustee

Lake Committee meets on the first Monday at the Village Hall at 7pm. The committee is charged with care of the Lake. This year the committee will be working on the Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan (LWRP).
