The Village of Wappingers Falls Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the Village from Friday, October 1st thru October 31st, 2021. Residents are advised to check the water prior to doing laundry, and to allow water to run until it clears if any discoloration occurs. *The Water Department Meeting will be on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.* Due to the recent spike in COVID cases, the Village is restricting traffic at the Village Hall to employees only. We are requesting that you pay your utility bill either by mail, lockbox (A return receipt will be mailed to you) or by credit card over the phone (Credit card payments are subject to a 2.65% fee). The Village of Wappingers Falls Water Department, located at 2582 South Avenue, is a service that operates the public water system. The Water Department, or Water Utility, provides potable tap water to residential customers, businesses, and others in Dutchess County.
